Begotten is a 1989 American experimental dark fantasy horror film written, produced, edited and directed by Edmund Elias Merhige.It stars Brian Salsburg, Donna Dempsy, Stephen Charles Barry, and members of Merhige's theatre company Theatreofmaterial.
